1. ORDERING

1.1 Do I need to open an account in order to shop with you?

No, you don’t need to. You can make purchases and check out as a guest every time.

However, by setting up an account with us, it will allow you to order without having to enter your details every time you shop with us. You can sign up right now, or you can first start shopping and create your account before you check out at the shopping cart page.

1.3 How do I order?

Shop for the items you want and add it to your shopping cart. When you have finished, you can proceed to your shopping cart and check out. Check and ensure that all information is correct before confirming your purchases and payment.

1.4 I have problems adding items to my shopping cart

You will be able to add the items as long as it is available. However, there could be an instance where the item is in someone else’s shopping cart hence the status of the items is reflected as “Temporarily Unavailable”.

1.5 How do I pay for my orders?

We accept payments via Paypal and you can use all major credit and debit cards such as Mastercard, VISA and American Express to pay via Paypal too.

1.6 Can I change my order once it is placed?

Once your order has been submitted we immediately begin the process. Hence, you can modify your order within 6 hours. After that, we will be unable to change the details of your order.

1.7 What should I do if I just placed an order but I would like to add some more items?

If you need to add more items into your placed order, it is always best to place another order instead.

1.8 How will I know if my order is confirmed?

After you have placed your order, you will receive an acknowledgement e-mail from us to confirm that your orders have been received. However, do note that orders will only be shipped when your credit card payment has been approved and billing and delivery address is verified. Alternatively, you may check the status of your order in “My Account” if you are a registered user.

1.9 Can I cancel my order?

Yes. You can cancel your order in case you changed your mind. Any cancellation or modification of your order should be done within 6 hours after placing the order.  Your payment will be refunded to the account you used to purchase your items in 3-5 business days or more.

1.10 What should I do if my item is damaged

We always pack all items very carefully. However, if your item is damaged, please take a snapshot of the item and forward to us at contact@peopleanimalworld.com with the details of your order.

1.11 What should I do if I received an incorrect item?

We always double check every order for accuracy before we send it out to our customers. However, if you believe that you received an incorrect item, then, please take a snapshot of the item and forward to us at contact@peopleanimalworld.com with the details of your order and we will do our best to get you the right item.

1.12 What should I do if my item doesn’t fit?

Please feel free to CONTACT US about any sizing issue you may have. However, for custom or personalized items, in case you order wrong size, you will need to reorder it again because these custom items can’t be resized. And, because custom and personalized products are made just for you, they are not returnable unless they are not made as ordered or there is a product defect.

1.13 Why the charge on my card statement doesn’t match the amount?

For international customers, your credit card will convert the amount from USD to your country’s currency. Therefore, the amount on your credit card statement can be different.

1.14 How can I personalize my order?

For personalized item, you will see specific guides for each product in “HOW TO PERSONALIZE” tab of the listing. And, please kindly leave the details of your order in “Order notes” section during checkout. Please CONTACT US if you need further help.

1.15 Can I change the inscription of my order?

Yes, you can. However, once your order has been submitted we immediately begin the process, so, you can change the inscription of your order within 6 hours. After that, we will be unable to change the inscription of your order. To change the inscription, please feel free to contact us via our CONTACT US page.

1.15 How do I know my ring size or bracelet size?

You can always check our sizing information in the description section of each item.

1.16 What is your personalized jewelry made of?

Most of our personalized jewelry is handcrafted using 14k/18k/24k Gold plating, Rose Gold Plating, White Gold plating, Jet Black Ruthenium plating, Sterling Silver Plating over brass metal. You can see more details in the listing.

1.16 What is the difference between 24k, 18k and 14k gold plating?

As “K” stands for karat and it refers to the percentage of gold in an alloy, so, 24k gold is 100% pure gold, 18k gold contains 75% gold and 25% alloyed metals, and 14k is 58% gold and 42% alloyed metals. Because of its higher percentage of alloyed metals, 14k gold will offer more resistance to wear and tear of your everyday use. For the look, 24k gold will offer a deeper yellow hue than 18k gold and 14k gold. And, 14k gold has a stronger white color than 18k and 24k gold. For the price, 24k gold will be more expensive than 18k and 14k gold due to the greater amount of pure gold in the alloy.

1.17 How do I take care of my jewelry?

In order to maintain the quality of your jewelry and to help your jewelry last a long time while looking its best, you should:
1. Take it off before sleeping, showering, bathing, exercising, or doing other physical activities.
2. Take it off before you go to pool, spa or beach.
3. Take it off before you do any household chores.
4. Take if off while working out or when you’re sweating.
5. Avoid contact with lotions, perfumes, makeup, hair spray, laundry detergent or other chemicals.
6. Avoid rubbing your jewelry against any hard surface.
7. Store your jewelry separately in a pouch or box to avoid scratches and damage from other jewelry.
8. Always clean your jewelry with warm water and soft brush.
9. Always keep your silver jewelry away from sulfurous materials to prevent tarnish.
10. Store your silver jewelry in an airtight zipper bag to prevent air from tarnishing it when you aren’t wearing it.

2. SHIPPING & DELIVERY

2.1 How much is shipping?

Normally, the shipping fee for our standard delivery orders is based on the total weight of the order. And, you will be able to see the shipping fee of your order during check out. We also offer free standard shipping on orders over 79 USD or more too when there is not special FREE INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING promotion available. Please check our website for the details.

2.2 How long will it take for me to receive my order?

It depends on processing time and shipping time. The processing time for non-custom items is 1-3 business days of clear payment. For custom or personalized items, the processing time may take up to 3-10 business days. The shipping time vary according to your location.

For standard delivery, the shipping time vary according to your location. For USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand and most countries in Europe and Asia, it usually take just 1-8 weeks only. For South America and Africa, the delivery time may takes up to 3 – 12 weeks. But we also offer expedited shipping (Express Shipping) too and the shipping time will be around 5-10 business days only.

Therefore, if you plan to purchase our products for special occasions like birthday or Mother’s day gift, then, please pay attention to the “Processing Time” and “Shipping Time” too.

2.3 Do you offer expedited shipping?

Yes, For expedited shipping (Express Shipping), the shipping time will be around 5-10 business days only (excluding processing time). And you can choose the courier like FedEx, UPS or DHL. The shipping cost of expedited shipping depends on the destination and the total weight of the package. If you are interested in expedited shipping, please CONTACT US before check out.

2.4 Who will deliver my order?

For standard delivery, your order will be delivered to you by the national postal service in your country. For expedited shipping, you will be able to choose the courier like FedEx, UPS or DHL.

2.5 Can I change my shipping address after my order has been confirmed?

Unfortunately, we are unable to redirect orders once your order is confirmed. Your order will be shipped to the specified address only. We cannot make any changes to shipping address when the order is placed. Please ensure that your shipping address is 100% correct during check out. Because, if your order is returned to us due to an incorrect address, you will be responsible for the shipping fee to ship the item to correct address.

2.6 How can I track my delivery?

Once your order is shipped, we will notify you within 24 hours about the details of the shipping such as tracking number by email. Then, you can use this tracking number to track your order’s shipping status via the website that we will inform you in the email.

2.7 It’s been 8 weeks and I did not receive my item yet. What should I do?

If it has been over 8 weeks and you did not receive your item yet, please CONTACT US  and we can certainly help you track your package. Then, we will reply you with the details and solution.

Yes, we can ship world wide.

The shipping time vary according to your location. For Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Asia, it usually take 1-4 weeks. And, 1-8 weeks for USA and Canada. Our main goal and mission for creating this online store is to help fund these animal welfare groups to keep fighting for the end of dog and cat meat trade. Hence, your purchase on our website can make a huge difference for the live of the animals and the lives of people who run it. Because these animal-rights activist groups receive no government support at all and they rely heavily on donations from animal lovers like us.
